Appropriate use of the Mathematics computing labsThe Mathematics computer labs are provided primarily for students registered in courses that require the use of mathematical software. Priority of use is given to students doing work assigned for courses. During busy times, you may be asked to relinquish your station if you are working on something that is not clearly related to a mathematics course. PrintingThe Mathematics department computer labs use the UM Sites printing system. Each image – printed side of a sheet of paper – is charged to your UM printing allocation at the current rate. If you want to know how many pages you have printed, you can see that information at the Balances and Subscriptions web page. use. We will open other labs as needed. The four labs used for

computer at which you are sitting, and they are not
accessible from elsewhere. If you want to to keep your
files,

Web homework and gateway testingSeveral courses have online homework and/or testing. The homework and tests are offered on the Math instructional server. You can do the web homework in the Math computer labs, however, the practice Gateway tests must be taken elsewhere. |
