| Random hyperbolic surfaces and measured laminations
In this talk I will discuss the problem of the distribution of hyperbolic surfaces coming from a fixed pants decomposition in the moduli space. If time permits, I will also explain a similar result about the moduli space of holomorphic quadratic differentials and its connection to the combinatorial problem of counting different types of curves carried by a fixed train track. | ||
