Good metrics on the moduli space of Riemann surfaces We introduce new complete K\"ahler metrics on the moduli space and study there differential geometric and algebraic geometric properties such as curvature, bounded geometry and Mumford goodness. The new metrics are used to anchor the K\"ahler-Einstein metric. As a corollary, we showed that all the known complete metrics on the Teichm\"uller and moduli spaces are equivalent.
