Text Supplements

We are pleased to offer you some supplements to the Edwards and Penney text for Math 216. These include a review of complex numbers that enhances the material in section 3.3 of the text, as well as a brief introduction to the computer package Matlab.

Note that additional information about using Matlab is contained in the document ``A Practical Introduction to Matlab" by Mark S. Gockenbach of Michigan Tech in Houghton (brrr!) that can be viewed online or downloaded as a postscript file (better for printing). Thanks to Mark Gockenbach for letting us use his manual as well.
