Math 115 Lesson PlansThese sample lesson plans are meant to give you an idea of what you might do in class during the first four weeks of the term. For brevity, they have been written as a set of instructions. However, they are by no means a script you must follow strictly. The later lesson plans have fewer details than the earlier ones, with much of the action left for you to fill in. This schedule assumes that your class meets MWF, for 80 minutes, 80 minutes, and 50 minutes respectively, with the first day of classes on Wednesday, groupwork due on Friday, and 20 minute quizzes on Wednesday. You may need to make some adjustments to fit your own class schedule. There are many ways to use the remaining half hour of scheduled class time: office hours, individual homework question-and-answer periods, homework group clinics, and so forth. If you fall behind the syllabus, you can also use the time to catch up.
