Position Description:
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor

These positions are designed to provide mathematicians with favorable circumstances for academic career development in research and teaching. Assistant Professorships have a teaching responsibility of two courses per semester; T.H. Hildebrandt positions have a responsibility of one course per semester. These positions may be combined with other funding sources giving additional reductions in teaching responsibility. Preference is given to candidates who receive the Ph.D. degree in 2006 or later and who submit a completed application by December 14, 2007. Salary is competitive and there are opportunities for supplemental summer salary.
