Tenured
and Tenure Track Positions
Pending authorization, the Department of Mathematics anticipates having one or more openings at the tenure-track or tenured level. Candidates should hold a PhD in mathematics or a related field and should show outstanding promise and/or accomplishments in both research and teaching. Applications are encouraged from any area of pure, applied, computational, or interdisciplinary mathematics. Salaries are competitive and are based on credentials. Junior candidates should furnish a placement dossier consisting of a letter of application, curriculum vitae and three letters of recommendation; senior candidates should send a letter of application, curriculum vitae, and names of three suggested references. In all cases please provide a statement of teaching philosophy and experience, evidence of teaching excellence, and a statement of current and future research plans.
