Admissions are done on a rolling basis. The MMSS program will make every attempt to honor the students first choice of course.

There is no application deadline but remember that the sooner you apply, the better the chance of you being placed into your top course choice!!!

FINANCIAL AID IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR 2008

The MMSS program application consists of the following:

1. Application Form
2. Letter of Recommendation
3. Student Research Statement
4. High School Transcript (copies of report cards are fine!)
5. $100 Application Fee

There are two ways to apply to the MMSS program:

1. Online Application (prefered method) or
2. Downloading the Application

If you choose our Online Application:

1. Make sure you download and complete the Letter of Recommendation (WORD), (PDF) and the Student Research Statement (WORD), (PDF) (both can be mailed, faxed (734) 763-0937or e-mailed directly to the MMSS program at mmss@umich.edu. Both are available from the Online Application.
2. Complete the Application, making sure you hit the Submit button. You will receive a confirming e-mail upon the sucessful submission of the online application.
3. Make arrangements to have a copy of your high school transcript sent/faxed/e-mailed to the MMSS program. (copies of report cards are fine!)
4. Please send your $100 check/money order (payable to the University of Michigan) with the application, making sure the student's name is on the check. This application fee is charged in addition to tuition and fees and returned to you if you are not admitted.

1. Mail the completed application to the MMSS program.
2. Mail, fax or e-mail the Student Research Statement and the Letter of Recommendation directly to the MMSS program.
