The Student Astronomical Society is hosting an open house at the Angell Hall Observatory http://www.astro.lsa.umich.edu/undergrad/angell.php at 10pm on Wednesday, 9 July.

All MMSS scholars, their family and friends are invited. Weather looks promising, and the 1st quarter Moon, the planets Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, and deep sky objects, should be visible.

The observatory is located on the 5th floor of Angell Hall, on State Street.
