End of Session Activity: Students in the "Explorations of a Field Biologist" course have been
spending the last two weeks outdoors learning how to observe, ask
questions, and test hypotheses on everything from exotic earthworms to
golden rod galls to bats. On Friday, July 9, from 1:30-2:30 PM (note change of time!) in the Math Atrium they
will present the results of SELF-designed experiments they completed
the day before.
Open Letter to FB Students: Dear FB Students, Congratulations on your projects which I heard (in part)
this afternoon! I thought they were impressive in the scientific
maturity you showed and I would like to encourage you to keep up the
good work after you are home from MMSS. Here is a directory of all the posters I saw, for you to continue
working with one another on them or related projects from home. The
posters are also listed one by one below by the authors. Posters for Field Biology 2004
In the meantime, I am linking here to the directory of all the
photos which Glenn took of your time here. For the moment these
individual files are somewhat large, and I apologize to those of you
who don't have a high speed connection and who would like to download
some of them as souvenirs of your stay. We will be looking into
ways to make them more easily available to you and your
families. Have a safe trip home, and thanks for coming to MMSS
