A Collegiate Professorship is one of the highest honors the College and the University can bestow upon an eminent member of the faculty. The Humboldt Research Award for Senior U.S. Scientists is awarded to Gopal Prasad.        2006 This award is given to researchers with internationally recognized academic qualifications and honors the academic achievements of the award winner's lifetime.
