Algebra/Algebraic Geometry

Personal Home Page

I work in algebraic geometry, in which one uses geometric methods to study systems of polynomial equations in several variables. One theme of my research has been to apply ideas and techniques from higher-dimensional geometry, in particular multiplier ideals, to a number of concrete algebraic and geometric problems. More recently, I have been studying a number of questions involving the algebraic structure of very positive embeddings of projective varieties of dimension two or more.
