Participants are encouraged to return to the math department following dinner, in order to interact with one another and with the speakers. Refreshments will be provided in the glass-enclosed common area on the second floor of East Hall.
On Saturday and Sunday, November 13–14, 2009, we will host the Seventh Midwest Number Theory Conference for Graduate Students and Recent PhD's. We encourage those attending the latter meeting to come a day earlier for the Midwest Number Theory Day.
If you plan to attend MNTD, please send email to numbertheory [at] umich.edu. Registration is requested only for determining the quantity of coffee and snacks. We will not turn away unregistered participants, nor will we deny them coffee and snacks.
We will be happy to help participants find lodging, and we will arrange lodging for all grad students funded by us (at two students per room).
Those coming by plane should fly into Detroit (DTW airport). Alternately, Megabuses go from Chicago to Ann Arbor, and Amtrak has a station (called ARB) in Ann Arbor. If you are coming in any of these ways, please let us know so we can arrange your local transportation from the various stations. Dining information to come.
