Stationary Measures for a Randomly Forced Burgers Equation on the Line

Abstract

We look at a randomly (but not stochastically) forced Burgers equation on an unbounded domain and construct stationary measures for the system. These measures are not unique. The construction is fairly explicit and uses ideas from Hamilton-Jacobi theory.
