Title: Dynamics of rational surface automorphisms
Abstract: We let X be a compact, complex surface, and we consider the dynamics of an automorphism of X. We will discuss some basic questions, such as: are there such surfaces X with nontrivial automorphisms? It turns out that there are many more of them than had been expected, and "most" of them occur on rational surfaces. We will describe some of them, as well as the corresponding dynamics.
