We'll continue our field trip through hyperplane arrangement land. We'll view arrangements and their intersection lattice as (oriented) matroids and geometric lattices. This will lead to the homology of a matroid. We will see that the `“ntersection poset complex" is essentially a wedge of sphere, where the number of spheres is given by the M\"obius function.
