Hilbert-Kunz multiplicity and regularity
This is an expositary talk on Hilbert-Kunz multiplicity focusing on the the
following theorem (Watanabe/Yoshida):
Unmixed local rings with Hilbert-Kunz multiplicity one are regular.
The talk will include a recently discovered (Huneke/Yao) simple proof of
this.
