Jet Schemes of Determinantal Varieties

I will first give a brief introduction of jet schemes and discuss some of their properties. Then I will talk about some of my work on jet schemes of determinantal varieties. If time permits, I'll also talk about wedge schemes (a higher-dimensional analogue of jet schemes).
