Computing some characters of branch curves
Abstract:
We'll be looking at general projections of projective surfaces, and
deriving formulas for computing some numerical characters of the
branch curves. The formulas we will get are very useful for producing
concrete algebro-geometric examples to keep in one's "toolkit."
