Abstract: This is part of a series of three talks following Professor Lazarsfeld's notes on the subject. We will cover the construction and examples of multiplier ideals, vanishing theorems for multiplier ideals, local properties of multiplier ideals, asymptotic constructions, and extension theorems and deformation invariance of plurigenera.
