Colloquium Series Date:  Tuesday, April 16, 2013 Location:  Forum Hall, Palmer Commons (4th floor) (4:30 PM to 5:30 PM) Title:  Mathematics of Protein Folding Abstract:   Learning methods in recent science are used to create a geometry on spaces of amino acid sequences. This geometry is used to study immunology, in particular in the peptide binding problem. Then these ideas are used to obtain new results in protein folding.
