Title: Subalgebras of the Fomin-Kirillov algebra: an update
Abstract: The Fomin-Kirillov algebra is a noncommutative quadratic algebra with a generator for each edge of the complete graph. In joint work with Jonah Blasiak and Karola Meszaros, we define a subalgebra of the Fomin-Kirillov algebra for any graph and show that these subalgebras have many properties analogous to those of finite Coxeter groups. I will discuss recent progress made in the past year on uncovering the structure of these algebras as well as describe some conjectures that are still unresolved.
