Title:  Anosov representations: the dynamical definition and main properties

Abstract:   Anosov representations have been introduced by Labourie and further developed by Guichard, Wienhard and others. They are representations of word hyperbolic groups into real semisimple Lie groups with discrete image and can be regarded as the generalization of convex cocompact representations into rank one Lie groups. In this talk, we will give the dynamical definition, examples and the main properties of Anosov representations.
