Representation Stability

Date:  Thursday, February 08, 2018
Location:  3866 East Hall (5:00 PM to 6:00 PM)

Title:  Configuration spaces of graphs and representation stability

Abstract:   In this talk, we give an overview of the state of the art in the study of graph configuration spaces. We follow this by exploring what the tools of representation stability, and other related techniques from asymptotic algebra, can tell us about these spaces.
