Title: The Dynamics of Bicritical Rational Maps
Abstract: In this talk, we consider rational maps on the Riemann sphere of degree d with exactly two critical points. In general, understanding the dynamics of rational maps of degree d is hard, but restricting the number of critical points of such maps cause the maps to behave a lot like quadratic rational maps. We explore this behavior that arises, and draw parallels to the behavior of quadratic polynomials.
