Title: A proposal for nonabelian mirror symmetry
Abstract: At the beginning of the talk, we will give a short review of gauged linear sigma models (GLSMs) from a physical point of view, and will quickly mention some new developments in GLSMs in the physics literature. After that, we will review the Hori-Vafa mirror construction of mirror of 2d abelian gauge theories. Finally, we propose the mirror construction for non-abelian GLSMs, solving a long-standing open problem. Several non-trivial examples will be discussed, and the proposal satises a number of consistency checks, including (but not limited to): matching quantum cohomology rings (twisted chiral rings) with the mirror Jacobi rings (chiral rings), matching (topological) correlation functions, for Calabi-Yau cases, correct central charges, etc.
