Title: FRG-Lecture series (joint with Algebraic Geometry seminar): Toric degenerations and mirror symmetry I-IV
Abstract: The aim of this series of talks is to give an introduction to toric degenerations, with an emphasis on moduli, their complex geometry and the existence of special functions. These special functions are related to theta functions and fully quantum corrected Landau-Ginzburg potentials. Toric degenerations of K3 surfaces serve as a running example with particularly beautiful properties.
