2nd Annual University of Michigan SIAM Student Conference
The SIAM student chapter of the University of Michigan hosted the second annual student conference on applied mathematics on November 12, 2011. Event page.
On April 8th, 2011, former chapter president Jingchen Wu received a Certificate of Recognition for his service to the chapter.
AIM Meet and Greet:
The SIAM Student Chapter at U-M hosted a meet & greet for the current AIM students, faculty, and prospective AIM students on Friday March 18th, 2011 at 4pm in 1084 East Hall. Snacks and refreshments were served.
1st Annual University of Michigan SIAM Student Conference:
On November 13th, 2010, the SIAM Student Chapter hosted the U-M SIAM Student Conference in Applied Mathematics. Professors Peter Miller and Ian Hiskens gave the keynote addresses and 17 students gave talks. For more information, please visit the conference website.
