Mathematics South Atrium, 2nd Floor East Hall
Preparing for the Job Market
One of the questions most frequently asked by students is, what can I do with my degree? Yet it is difficult to convey to undergraduates the broad scope of career options that are available to them. Career books and guidance counselors can help, but nothing is quite as useful as hearing from people who have been where they are and who are now solidly into real careers. The main purpose of the Mathematics Career Conference is to provide current students interested in mathematical sciences with information regarding career options including: business and industry, education, and actuarial and financial occupations. The Conference will be held in the Mathematics Atrium, East Hall and will be hosted in a flexible format that allows maximum opportunity for contact between students and alumni of the Department.
Please contact the Undergraduate Mathematics Office for additional information.
