Mathematics Advanced
Placement Policy
College
of Literature, Science and the Arts
Math 120 and Math 121 are
"phantom" courses representing
advanced placement credit (AB and BC respectively). They are
not representative of any specific University of Michigan Mathematics
course. They were developed for the purpose of accommodating
the upcoming electronic degree audit system, which recognizes only
credit associated with a course number.
AB EXAM:
Score of 4 or 5: two (2) credits of Math 120 granted upon admission. No credit granted if Math 105 or Math 115 is elected.
