Office hours : official office hours are:

• Mondays 11-12pm;
• Wednesdays 11am-12pm;
• Fridays 9-10am.
  
  If you can't make it at those times, most of the time I should be able to arrange a meeting by appointment. Please use the office hours, come discuss problems, confusions , ideas, or simply to chat about math or to have a cup of tea.

Notice: this should be obvious, but you wouldn't believe...the following actions are generally considered poor etiquette:

1. Randomly showing up without an appointment and expecting to be received right away.
2. Making an appointment and then not showing up without any motivation.

If you taint yourself of one of the above, know that you have made a small contribution towards turning a happy, easy going, accommodating instructor into a grumpy, disgruntled and bitter professor!

Homework: here is the suggested homework (blue) and the due to be graded homework(red) . Remember that homework is due every Friday!

However, remember to do as much homework as you need. Each and everyone of us learns at its own very personal pace, and needs its own very personal amount of exercise!
