Some other things of interest...This Week's Finds in Mathematical Physics is a column written by John Baez, a mathematical physicist at UC Riverside. Even if you're not a mathematical physicist, you're sure to find something interesting here. The Columbia Undergraduate Mathematics Society, which I helped found, has really taken off in the last year or so. You can still find a bunch of old papers by me and some friends there, along with a lot of more recent stuff. Wikipedia is always a good reference. Well, not always, but often... If you came here to learn something, you should probably educate yourself about real ultimate power. This interactive AI project -- 20Q.net -- is a lot of fun. The inspiration for instant classics such as "Love is like a ginger root." (Try it and you'll see what I mean.) Strindberg + helium. Sweden is farther north than Michigan, so the winter days are even shorter there. |
