Then, say you have H. influenzae CH genes data to enter, you would click until you got down into that directory (so, through PHX Data --> H. influenzae data --> Chap Data). Once there, click "new", and you get to choose, e.g., to dump a file local to your computer, which would be the typical way to do this. (I forget, but I think there is a cut-and-paste option, if you wish.) I have deposited several contributions form Jayson tothe H. influenzae project. Note also that his Java script is available for stripping genes from GenBank files. Check the format he is using, which is a natural and useful one (1 gene = 2 lines, one Fasta comment line, and one (long, unbroken) line of sequence.
