Style files and templates

The preferred typesetting language for the SF-2001 proceedings volume is LaTeX. The archive sf-kluwer.tar.gz contains Kluwer's style files for LaTeX 2e. It also contains a very short template file named sf-template.tex that I wrote myself; it shows the basic features of Kluwer's LaTeX setup.

For the most part, Kluwer's style is compatible with standard LaTeX, so if you are currently using the latter, I do not anticipate problems in converting your paper into Kluwer's format. Once you accomplish this, you will be able to see your paper typeset exactly as it will appear in the proceedings volume (I hope). This will also save time and effort of the editors.

Save the archive into your working directory. In a UNIX shell, type

to unpack the files right into your current directory.
