The manner in which such a document is created is not one that admits a single prescription, but following is some information on my vision of a course portfolio. I was inspired by a talk by Steve Dunbar of the UNL Math/Stats Department to start all of this.

• A talk about course portfolios, that I did for Project NExT Fellows in July 1999 in Providence.

• Another talk about course portfolios, this one my part of the talk that Steve and I did for the Project NExT fellows at the Atlanta Mathfest in 1997.

• A course portfolio discussion document that I wrote up after hearing Steve's 'original' talk.
