Schedule Edit: Please Note The reset and import actions make fundamental and generally difficult to reverse changes to the course schedule in the database. In general you will only want to do this between terms, when updating the schedule and assignments for a new semester.

Reset schedule for a new term:
This action creates a backup of the current schedule and then clears all instructor assignments and course-sections! Accordingly, it should only be executed when the current schedule is no longer needed.

Import default schedule for term
This action should be executed after resetting the schedule for a new term. It will only work when there is no existing schedule definition.

Generate a draft schedule (as draft 1).
This action only generates drafts. Any existing assignments will be honored in the draft schedule.
