My work is in geometric group theory and low dimensional topology, primarily free groups and limit groups.

Papers and preprints

The dimension papers are derived from my dissertation, and extend the notion to varieties defined over free groups.

Krull dimension:

• Krull dimension for limit groups. Geometry & Topology, accepted.
• Scott complexity and adjoining roots to finitely generated groups. GGD, accepted.

Not Krull dimension:

• Simple loop conjecture for limit groups (arXiv link. Submitted.)
• Nielsen equivalence of generating sets for closed surface groups. (arXiv link. Submitted slightly different version.)
• Graphs of subgroups of free groups (with D B McReynolds). (Published in Algebraic & Geometric Topology.)

In preparation

• A non-strongly accessible group
• Hierarchical accessibility for relatively hyperbolic groups (Joint with Nicholas Touikan) (Explanation available upon request.)
