The following paper provides new examples of relative deformation spaces of hyperbolic 3-manifolds that are not locally connected: Examples of Relative Deformation Spaces That are Not Locally Connected (also available on the arxiv and submitted for publication)

These results grew out of work on my dissertation, in which I will show the following more general result: when S is a closed surface, the deformation space AH(S) is not locally connected.

Over the next year, I plan to provide preprints concerning this more general result as I complete them.
