• Exams are closed notes and closed book.
• Makeup exams will not be administered.

• The first midterm exam will be on Tuesday October 14 during class.
• The material covered is Chapters 1, 2.1-2.7 and 3.1-3.3.
• Calculators are not permitted.
• You are allowed to bring one 3x5" index card with hand-written notes (both sides).
• Here is a practice exam with answer key.

• The second midterm will be on Tuesday December 9 during class.
• The material covered is Ch 3.4-3.5, 4.1-4.5.1, 5.1-5.3.5, 5.4.
• Calculators and microscopes are not permitted.
• You are allowed to bring two 3x5" index cards with hand-written notes (both sides).
• Here is a practice exam with answer key.
