Title:   Counting curves in algebraic varieties
Lecturer:  Richard Thomas, Imperial College

 

The first talk is part of the regular colloquium series (though it will be at a special time), while the second talk takes place during the usual Algebrai Geometry seminar.

This is our ninth Spring Lecture Series in Algebraic Geometry. Previous speakers have been (in reverse chronological order): Bjorn Poonen, Daniel Huybrechts, Marc Levine, Mihnea Popa and Giuseppe Pareschi, Ravi Vakil, Shigeru Mukai, Paul Biran, and Burt Totaro.
